Critiques
A critique is a written one-page summary of the editor's impression of your manuscript: what's great about it, and what could be improved. An honest and objective professional critique is a good first step toward bettering the manuscript. An evaluation is longer and more detailed and gives suggestions regarding plot, structure, characterizations, fact-checking, and marketability. An edit is a manuscript markup noting and including every suggested change or correction.
